More About Me

Lori Auerbach, a native of Southwest Louisiana, thrived in her 25-year career in fashion and textile marketing in New York City.  While living and working in the heart of Manhattan, she married her husband, and had a son in 2002.  In the midst of her high-powered career, marriage and having their first child she also managed to complete her Interior design degree at the New York School of Interior Design.  Shortly afterwards her son was diagnosed with special needs and she put her career on hold to focus on her son's needs.  In 2012, Lori and her family relocated to Fairfield and began experiencing all that Fairfield County has to offer: hiking, biking, growing their first family vegetable garden, catching fireflies in July, sledding & skiing in the winter and overall enjoying their new home and lifestyle in the Greenfield Hill area of Fairfield.

Since receiving her real estate license and joining the Vanderblue Team at The Higgins Group, Lori has been specializing in urban-to-suburban relocations (NYC to Fairfield County) as well as helping families with special needs children find their next home in Fairfield County.

With Lori's design background she has the ability to enhance homes through creative styling utilizing what the homeowner already owns.  Home buyers can also benefit from Lori's creative vision when searching for a new home that may not be exactly perfect.  Creative vision brings tremendous value to both buyers and sellers!

Lori's combination of high energy, drive, genuine interest in helping people and her background in textiles, fashion and interior design are a winning recipe for real estate success!
